Omeis Global is an overseas medical education consultancy based in India. We help Indian students and their families with MBBS admissions abroad, mainly at our partner, Alfraganus University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Choosing to study medicine abroad is a big, expensive decision, and you trust us with personal information along the way. This policy explains, in plain words, what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to be easy to read — if anything here is unclear, please just ask us.
This policy covers our website (omeisglobal.com) and the ways you contact us through it. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), which is the main law that governs how we handle your personal data. If you visit us from outside India, we still handle your information with the same care.
In short: We collect only what we need to help with your admission. We do not sell your data. We share your details with our partner university abroad only when you decide to apply and give your consent.
Who we are
“We”, “us” and “Omeis Global” mean Omeis Global, the consultancy that runs this website and guides students through MBBS admissions abroad. When this policy talks about “you”, it means the student or the parent, guardian, or family member who contacts us.
Information we collect
We collect two kinds of information.
Information you give us
When you fill in our contact form, we collect your:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The subject you choose (for example, admission, fees, or eligibility)
- The message you write to us
When you speak with our counsellors on WhatsApp, phone, or email, you may share more details so we can guide you properly — such as your city, your NEET score, your Class 12 marks, and other academic or document details needed for admission. You choose what to share, and you only need to share what is relevant to your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, the services that help us run and deliver the site (such as our hosting provider and the services that load fonts, icons, images, and maps) automatically receive some basic technical information your browser sends — like your IP address, your device and browser type, and the pages you view. This helps the pages load correctly and keeps the site secure.
Our website does not ask you to create an account. When you make a payment to us, it is processed through secure, official payment channels run by trusted third-party payment gateways. These gateways handle the payment safely on our behalf — we do not collect or store your full card, UPI, or bank account details on our website.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- guide you through the MBBS admission process, step by step
- share information about our partner university and the course
- contact you by phone, email, or WhatsApp about your enquiry and your admission
- keep proper records and meet our legal responsibilities
We use your information only for the purposes above. Where the law needs your consent, we ask for it, and you are free to say no or to change your mind later.
Cookies and analytics
A cookie is a small file that a website can store in your browser to help it work.
We use analytics and measurement tools to understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve the site and our outreach. These tools use cookies to recognise your browser and to measure how the pages are used.
Some other services we use to build the pages — such as web fonts, icons, embedded Google Maps for our office locations, and our image delivery service — may also set basic cookies or receive your IP address so those parts of the page can load. You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not trade it. We share your information only in these situations:
- With our partner university (Alfraganus University, Uzbekistan) — when you decide to apply, and with your consent, we share the details needed to process your admission and enrolment.
- With our associate agents and referral partners — we work with trusted agents who help students connect with us. When an agent refers a student to us, they may share that student’s details with us; and where it is needed to help with a student’s enquiry and admission, we may share the necessary student details with the agent. This sharing is only to support the student’s admission and related services — never to sell data — and we expect our agents to handle the information responsibly.
- With service providers who help us run the website — for example, our website hosting provider, our image delivery service (ImageKit), Google Maps (which shows our office locations), and WhatsApp / Meta (which carries your messages when you chat with us). These providers handle your data only to provide their service to us.
- When the law requires it — for example, if a government authority or court lawfully asks for information.
International transfer of data
Our partner university, Alfraganus University, is in Tashkent, Uzbekistan — outside India. To process your admission, we need to share your details with the university there.
We do this only with your consent, and we share only the information the university needs to consider your application and enrol you. Some of the technical services we use to run the website (such as hosting or Google services) may also store data on servers outside India. Wherever your data goes, we take reasonable care to keep it safe and to share only what is necessary.
Minors’ data (students under 18)
Many of our students are 17 or 18 years old, and some are under 18. Under Indian law, a person under 18 is a minor.
If you are a student under 18, we expect a parent or legal guardian to be involved in your enquiry and to give consent before we collect or use your personal data. We do not knowingly collect or process a minor’s personal data without a parent or guardian’s involvement and consent.
We never use a child’s data for advertising or in any way that could harm the child. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has shared information with us without your involvement, please contact us and we will look into it and put it right.
How long we keep your information
We keep your information only for as long as we genuinely need it — to answer your enquiry, guide your admission, and keep proper records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. If a law requires us to keep certain records for a set period, we keep them for that period and then remove them.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have rights over your personal data. You can:
- ask us what personal data of yours we hold and how we use it
- ask us to correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your personal data when we no longer need it
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not undo anything we did before you withdrew)
- nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to do so yourself
To use any of these rights, just contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm who you are first, so we can protect your data, and we will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can raise it with us first, and you also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
